Visiting the site

The site has no visitor tracking or analytics enabled by default. The hosting service may process basic request information, such as an IP address, requested page and request time, to serve pages and investigate errors. We do not use that information to build advertising profiles.

Joining the waitlist

The waitlist asks for your email address and, optionally, your town or postcode. We use your email for two messages: one when reservations open to the waitlist and one when Stake ships. The optional location helps us understand where gardens are and plan shipping coverage. It is not required to join.

The form sends these fields to the configured form service so Fieldbench can receive your signup. In this fictional demo, the endpoint is forms.example.com and stores nothing. A live site must identify its actual form service and explain that service’s handling and retention here.

You can leave the waitlist through an email’s unsubscribe link or by writing to hello@stake.example.com. We do not sell the waitlist or share it for other companies’ marketing.

Contact and reservations

If you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you include. We use them to answer your question or handle your order. On a live shop, the payment provider processes payment details, while Fieldbench needs reservation and delivery details to fulfill an order. The checkout links in this demo take no payments.

Readings in the app

The free phone app requires no account. Soil readings stay on your phone unless you add a Base. Base uses Wi-Fi to make readings available away from home; details of any remote processing and retention must be provided before that service launches.
